Overview
P30 combines three stripping openings and a precision fiber cleaver in one portable tool. Developed from the P20 cleaving platform, it brings jacket removal, buffer stripping, coating removal and cleaving together to reduce tool changes during fiber preparation.
Key Features
- Strip and cleave with one tool: integrated openings for 250 μm coated fiber, 600–900 μm buffer and 1.6–3.0 mm outer jackets.
- Precision cleaving: specified average cleave angle ≤0.5° and a blade with 24 cutting positions.
- Automatic blade-height adjustment: the mechanism maintains blade height without manual adjustment.
- One-step operation: press to cleave; the lever rebounds and the blade carriage returns automatically.
- Durable construction: one-piece CNC-machined anodized aluminum body and SUS304 stainless steel guide rail.
- Practical handling: integrated waste-fiber box, safety lock and non-slip base pads.
Fiber Compatibility & Preparation
The three-in-one holder supports the fiber and cable formats listed below. Use the stripping opening appropriate to the layer being removed; a 250 μm designation refers to coated fiber, not the bare-glass diameter.

Integrated Configuration
These are integrated product components, not a list of separate supplied accessories. The source document does not specify package contents, accessory quantities, dimensions, weight or warranty duration. Final configuration, accessories and warranty terms must follow the order contract.
Preparation Workflow
- Remove the outer jacket with the 1.6–3.0 mm opening where applicable.
- Remove the buffer with the 600–900 μm opening where applicable.
- Strip the primary coating from 250 μm coated fiber.
- Clean the exposed glass with a lint-free wipe and suitable alcohol.
- Position the prepared fiber in the cleaving slot, close the holder and press the lever.
- Inspect the cleaved end face and transfer the fiber to the fusion splicer. Collect and dispose of fiber scraps safely.
Typical Applications
- FTTH / FTTx installation and maintenance.
- Fiber preparation before fusion splicing in cable construction.
- Patch-cord and pigtail preparation in data rooms and telecom base stations.
- Surveillance and structured-cabling fiber installation.
- Fiber-component production and laboratory work with compatible fibers.
